We’re currently seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager who can provide leadership and guidance for a team of Customer Service Representatives at our facility in Toughkenamon, PA. This is a great opportunity for an energetic individual who enjoys working with a diverse group of people in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Sales & Marketing, the Inside Sales/CS Manager will skillfully coordinate and expedite the flow of work and documents within the Sales Department. Your role will also involve providing leadership to Customer Service Reps through effective, objective goal setting, delegation, and communication. This will require strong people skills, sales coordination, and administrative support to the Customer Service Representatives.  The ideal candidate will have the ability to identify and complete a wide range of tasks with minimum instruction and oversight, while recognizing and responding to opportunity wherever you see it.

Requirements: 
  • A minimum of 3 years overall business experience.
  • Experience in the food (produce) industry preferred.
  • Previous experience in a fast paced office environment.
  • Strong people-oriented management experience, leading a team.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle time sensitive projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
  • Advanced PC skills, including experience using MS Office, MS Outlook, and Web Browsers, or equivalent.
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn industry-related systems such as EDI, I-Trade Network and Foodlink.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, organized and able to work independently.
  • Integrity with ability to keep information confidential.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Supervise and assist Customer Service Reps to ensure Inside Sales functions and duties are accurately and promptly completed
  • Provide leadership to Customer Service Reps through effective, objective goal setting, delegation, and communication.  Monitors results and implements corrective actions if needed.
  • Participate in the performance evaluation process of direct reports.
  • Keep management informed of area activities and of any significant problems or concerns.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • Attend industry trade shows as requested.
  • Respond to customer phone inquiries and ensure that customer comments, problems, complaints and requests are resolved and/or forwarded to an appropriate individual(s) in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Coordinate sales activities with Quality Control, Transportation, Accounting and Purchasing to ensure customer satisfaction on all levels.
  • Cross training as required by management.
  • Exhibit professionalism with a clean, neat appearance.
  • Collaborate with senior management and provide accurate objective feedback.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Education: 
  • Bachelor's degree in a Business field or equivalent experience in a related field.
