Job Description: 

London Fruit, Inc. continues to develop new markets in this ever-changing produce industry. We believe in utilizing the most current innovations in our industry. In Mexico, our field staff works directly with our Mexican-based growers and packers, emphasizing advanced growing methods, and clean packing environments as we move towards increased food safety certification and trace-ability.

London Fruit, Inc. is adding talent to its sales team in Pharr, Texas.  Join our Marketing team selling Mangos, Avocados and Limes. This individual will be focused on results, and motivated to work at a high level of efficiency and be up to the challenge of bringing new customers to the business.

Compensation/Salary:

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Handling incoming sales calls from current customers and sales prospects
  • Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
  • Taking it upon yourself to make cold calls and set appointments
  • Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
  • Maintaining and developing working relationships with the team
  • Seeking to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets 
  • Providing sales support and superior customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele
  • Must have a good working relationship with your customers
  • Ability to track and justify any product-related adjustments
  • Coordinate with others within our system to ensure an efficient movement of our product
Education: 
  •  Experience will substitute for formal education

 

Qualifications: 
  • The right individuals will have a minimum of 5 years selling experience
  • Prior experience in moving product through different channels as conditions change
  • A proven track record in increasing sales and establishing new accounts is a must
  • Proven experience working with Sales, Production, Shipping and Management team
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, I-Trade, FoodLink, Famous Software a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Proven oral & written communication – organizational & negotiating skills
  • Sound knowledge of proven sales processes
  • Comprehensive understanding of market conditions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
