- Assist in the product development process from concept through introduction under the direction of the Director of Marketing and Innovation.
- Work closely with internal cross-functional teams to assist in the development of new products and project assignments
- Work with retailer “own brand” teams to manage execution of new products, including managing and reviewing packaging design process.
- Assist in identifying consumer and customer trends.
- Utilize market research to help identify and test new products.
- Work with various product vendors to identify new ingredients, packaging and component opportunities and trends.
- Work with vendors as needed to request samples, reference materials, and pricing
- Create packaging and product samples, mock ups and comps for meetings as needed
- Assist in preparation of new product launches including development of sales samples and selling kits
- Work with the sales team as needed to identify customer opportunities.
- Provide support as needed for new product development process & projects
- Execute other activities as established by supervisor
