Fresh Produce Inventory Specialists are responsible for all processes required to manage Pacific Organic’s consolidation inventory. This includes ensuring the proper handling of our inventory related to receiving, shipping, inventory reconciliation and quality control, while proactively communicating with management and conducting systematic reporting.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Perform all processes required to manage Pacific Organic’s consolidation inventory. 
  • Ensure the proper handling of inventory related to receiving, shipping, inventory reconciliation and quality control.
  • Proactively communicate with management and conduct systematic reporting.
  • Ensure proper shipping processes by following up on problems and trouble-shooting in collaboration with Pacific Organic’s, Albert’s Organics’ and/or 3rd party warehouse management.
  • Plan, schedule and manage the product inbound transportation requirements.
  • Publish required reports in a proactive and timely manner.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in an ethical manner and in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.
Education: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management or a related field, OR equivalent experience and training. 
Skills: 
  • Strong customer focus with a professional demeanor. 
  • Ability to manage large volumes of data. 
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and remain flexible. 
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines while accomplishing team objectives. 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to resolve issues effectively and in a timely manner.   
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective, positive internal/external working relationships with a diverse group of individuals; a team player.

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a logistics setting with perishable environment, preferably produce. 
  • Basic understanding of transportation, warehousing, supply chain executive software and third-party logistics. 
  • Proficiency in Internet, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel required. 
  • English/Spanish bilingual skills a plus. 
  • Must be flexible to work weekends, holidays and evenings as necessary. 
  • Some travel will be required. 
  • Valid driver’s license required.
