Oversee the growth and development of the sales team in an exciting and growing company. Pure Fresh, LLC is a leader in the berry industry and growing substantially in the vegetable category. The Senior Sales Manager will manage the sales team, interact with operations, and network daily with growers and shippers.  The role involves managing, sales, buying, and problem solving in a dynamic environment.]

Objective:
Oversee the development of the sales team. Develop a strategic plan with management for aggressive growth, customer development, and product extensions.

Position Reports to: 
General Manager / VP Sales
Responsibilities & Duties: 

Management:

  • Execute Daily, seasonal and annual sales to Key Retail, Food Service and Wholesales accounts.
  • Oversee sales department and provide strategic leadership and development of both team and customer base.
  • Training and management of sales team, operations, and office administrators.
  • Manage, maintain and develop relationships with growers/suppliers.
  • Develop Blueberry strategic plan
  • Present new product line extensions to executive team.

Sales:

  • Communicate with customers and suppliers negotiating commodities, pricing, and program sales.
  • New business development.
  • Lead and participate in sales & business planning for marketing and sales.
  • Develop and prepare sales reports.
  • Work with customers to develop plans and address their specific needs.
Qualifications: 
  • Previous sales experience (minimum of 10 years) and knowledge of the produce industry.
  • Effective communication skills, strong customer skills, team oriented.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, good decision making skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, and above average problem solving and analytical skills
  • Growth and sales oriented
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Portfolio key Accounts and blueberry procurement knowledge.
