We currently have an opening for a Sales Representative who is enthusiastic, energetic, a fast learner, and highly motivated to work hard at creating new customer contacts for our business. This is a great opportunity for an outgoing and organized individual to take our sales to a higher level and broader reach. The right candidate for this position will possess excellent communication skills and excellent planning and follow-through skills.

- Proactively create opportunities for additional sales with new and existing customers
- Take it upon yourself to make cold calls and set appointments

- Prior produce sales experience highly desirable, with 5 plus years in produce trading to retail desired
- Experience with fresh produce wholesale/retail highly desirable, especially Mexican items such as Chile Peppers, Limes, etc.
- Sound knowledge of proven sales processes
- Comprehensive understanding of market trends and conditions
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
- Able to work under pressure with close deadlines
