Our general manager is responsible to lead and manage all areas of the assigned Distribution Center:
- Sales
- Warehouse management
- Administration
- Business development
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Meet annual targets for sales, gross margin and net margin
- Develop, streamline and maintain efficient systems for employee day-to-day operations
- Inventory management
- Quality controls
- Receiving and transportation
- Equipment and facility maintenance
- Profit reporting
- Sales reporting
- Safety systems and safety training
- Excellent communication skills,
- Outstanding leadership qualities.
- Experience in the produce distribution industry, with a focus on foodservice.
