This individual will be responsible for building sales with existing and new customers, while maintaining and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating shipment with dispatch and freight companies
In this key role you will:
- Take purchase orders from customers and place them with vendors
- Track POs from point of origin through arrival to customer with various transportation companies
- Work in a fast pace/exciting work environment with the ability to track inventory
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop strong relationships with current and new accounts
- Responsible for building sales and providing customers service
- Coordinating shipments with various trucking companies
- Order packing, labels and shipping supplies from various vendors
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Positive, proactive attitude
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines (Very important)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong sense of urgency and works well under pressure
- Bilingual (Preferred)
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy
- Be reliable and punctual
- Participate and attend selected trade shows
- Follow up on sales leads
- Occasional local travel (must have a car, valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance), including weekends
- Fast learner / self starter
- Sensitivity to various cultural backgrounds
- Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 22 lbs
- Dedication in supporting the direction and vision of the founder
Qualifications:
- 1 Years’ experience in related description
- Customer service experience
- Proficiency in computer, writing skills and texting
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, excel (Quick books preferred)
- Organizational skills and detail oriented
- Open availability
- Excellent phone skills
- Clear background check
- Excellent references
The salary for this position is commensurate with experience.
