Employer Introduction

Welcome to FirstFruits Marketing of Washington

We grow great apples and the best varietals, but it’s our philosophy that sets us apart. Several companies with strong passions for producing high quality fruit have joined forces to form First Fruits Marketing of Washington. Together we grow the best varieties and we provide a year-round supply of conventional and organic apples, as well as a diverse assortment of seasonal pears and sweet cherries.

With FirstFruits Marketing, it’s also about delivering results to our customers. Our commitment begins in the orchard, using responsible practices at every stage. This commitment includes an integrated Quality Assurance and Quality Control staff. In addition our fruit is grown and packed under a stringent food-safety system, certified Level 3 by SQF.

We believe you can grow wonderful fruit and balance the needs of people, planet, and profits. Following in the footsteps of Broetje Orchards which donates up to 50% of profits annually to global humanitarian efforts, FirstFruits Marketing will make a similar commitment by donating 10% of profits to non-profit charities supporting the underserved.

About the area

The warm, dry summers in Yakima will appeal to those who enjoy the outdoors and our close proximity to hiking, biking, mountains, lakes, streams, and fishing. The Yakima Valley of Washington is one of the world’s top agricultural growing regions boasting award-winning wine and large varieties of fresh produce. Residents and visitors enjoy the relaxing pace of the countryside and the charm of revitalized downtowns. Ski resorts are 40 miles away, and it's a 2-hour drive to Seattle.

Winery hopping is popular with those seeking the good life and great wines. Across this sun-soaked WA wine region, in the same latitude as the great wine-producing regions of France, magnificent vineyards feature trellises laden with rich grape varietals. Local vintners invite you to savor their prized harvests and collect their handcrafted, award-winning wines.
