JOB FILLED - Technical Sales Representative

Job Description: 

We are seeking a driven, experienced commercial leader to lead the United States sales efforts. As part of Sales, you will present our innovative and leading company in the design and manufacturing industrial machinery specializing in forming, erecting, and gluing corrugated and compact cardboard boxes that will apply to agriculture, board manufacturers, food, and the general industry. You will work closely with and report to our General Manager as well as work with our sales and technical team to grow sales and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

Roles / Responsibilities:

  • Present and sell company products to new and existing customers
  • Carrying out tasks of the aftermarket-sales area of the business
  • Identifying areas of business development, as per growth objectives established
  • Select and creating technical work teams
  • Coordinate service attention technical assistance
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Reach agreed-upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
  • Work with our Marketing team to create sales material to present to customers
  • Attend trade shows

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience at least 3-5 years demonstrable experience in sales area of packaging machinery or packaging industry
  • Cardboard box manufacturing machinery and packaging sector
  • Carboard and packaging areas in industrial and agri-foods sectors
  • Customer relations/service after sales
  • Guidance in customer service after sales
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Must be capable of traveling 50-60% of the time
