Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Work closely with sales staff and customers to coordinate purchasing orders
  • Receive, process, and prepare orders for pickup or delivery
  • Coordinate product transfers between locations
  • Coordinate shipments via trucking companies
  • Provide load requirement information to all drivers
  • Complete orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Operate truck scales 
  • Complete weight tags, bills of lading, and hazardous material shipping documents
  • Receive product-order inquires via phone and email
  • Provide direction and instructions (verbal and written) to customers and employees
  • Track and maintain inventory of products stored in warehouse and in bulk storage
  • Calculate total quantities of product by weight and/or volumetric measurements
  • Perform customer service duties as needed by responding to calls and visitors in a professional manner
  • Provide backup and assistance to other dispatchers/employees by answering phones as needed
  • Assign and monitor drivers throughout routes
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Sitting for long periods
  • Standing, walking, climbing stairs
  • Finger mobility and grasping
  • Twisting, bending, stooping and reaching
  • Ability to lift up to 80lbs.
  • Ability to perform physical labor under adverse field conditions
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate’s Degree in Agriculture Business or General Business is preferred
  • 1+ year of experience of agriculture fertilizer and pesticides 
  • 1+ years of experience working as a Dispatcher or in a similar capacity
  • Valid Driver’s License 
  • Ability to function in high stress situations
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work with different personalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of general purchasing operations
  • Knowledge of agricultural fertilizer and pesticides
  • Knowledge in Agvance software
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
