We are looking for an exceptional individual to be the Operations Manager of one of the best onion packing operations in the country. This is a great opportunity for the right individual!
The Operations Manager directs operations through a team of functional managers and front-line supervisors. Ensures increasing levels of customer and employee satisfaction while improving the efficiency of manpower, materials and machines.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manages policy deployment in the areas of Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures.
- Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
- Demonstrates leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships.
- Manages material requirements to increase inventory turns and reduce levels on hand.
- Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
- Balances work cell capacity/loading across the plant.
- Provides leadership through a 10-11-month planning cycle.
- Determines operations headcount needs and ensures compliance with company policies.
- Ensures compliance with company needs for capital investments and improvement projects.
- Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Must establish challenging targets for improvement in safety, quality, efficiency, cost, delivery and employee relations.
- Must oversee line stops, safety violations/accidents and chronic defects.
