We now have an immediate opening for a Ripener Lead to join our team in Irwindale, CA.
The Ripening Lead role is responsible for supporting the ripening on daily inventory of all commodities assigned specifically bananas. Responsible for maintaining the proper color chart or ripeness level expectations with very low tolerance for variance.
It is a fast paced environment where the volume of inventory requires a high level of tracking and following proper procedures using the warehouse management system to maintain inventory integrity by following best practices.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in quality and banana ripening processes
- Exceptional time management skills
- Proficient Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook
- 2 year riding pallet jack experience
- 2 year forklift (Sit down) experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Inventory experience a plus
- Ability to build rapport relationship with all levels of management
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and able to accomplish team objectives
