We have an opportunity for a career minded individual to join our team as a Payroll Assistant in Salinas, CA.
As a Payroll Assistant you are responsible for compiling and recording employee time and payroll data. You will compute employees' work time, production, incentives and bonus. You will also compute and post wages and deductions and prepare paychecks.

Requirements:
- Two to three years related experience and/or training
- Human Resources experience preferred
- Financial Management Ability
- Technical Capacity – Proficient in Excel and MS work products
- Able to work in a respectful and professional manner with all levels of employees

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Compile payroll data such as garnishments, vacation time, insurance and 401(k) deductions
- Collect timecards and review the information for completeness and accuracy
- Poll electronic time clocks (E-time software) and review the downloaded information for completeness and accuracy
- Contact various department supervisors for any missed times or discrepancies
- Process weekly transfer of payroll data to ADP
- Compile internal management reports from payroll system software
- Other duties as assigned
