We’re Coast Produce Company, a family owned business that has been in the produce industry for over 55 years. We procure and distribute fresh fruits and vegetables to retail, foodservice and government customers.
We’re looking for a Merchandising professional to join our team based out of Los Angeles, CA.
The merchandiser will directly impact the sales process by having continuous contact with produce managers, receivers, and department managers. Responsible for calling on an assigned itinerary of stores and delivering superior in-store customer service by merchandising store shelves and displays. The work schedule is demanding; the merchandiser may work nights, weekends and early mornings. The merchandiser will commute to the scheduled stores daily as well as other locations.
The person we’re looking for has 2 to 4 years of experience in the produce industry, a clean driving record and back-round check. Must have a willingness and ability to travel locally (up to and occasionally over 60 miles per day). You must maintain a professional appearance, and have superior communications skills.
