Earl’s Organic Produce is looking for someone who loves produce and is interested in a life of excellence and engaged humor.

We are currently seeking a Sales Representative II to join our team in San Francisco, CA.

The Sales Representative II position is to drive sales and profitability for the company through building and cultivating longterm partnerships with customers and growers.  You will engage in product nuisance, behavior, and seasonality daily. Be curious! Learn the labels, Growers, area grown, grades, flavors, varieties, differences and similarities. Be able to clearly explain and educate fellow co-workers and customers alike.

Manage and negotiate ads to drive margin goals at customer level.  And, manage the sales process from prospecting to onboarding.
 
The successful candidate will have:

  • Education and/or Experience: Three years’ minimum sales experience in Retail produce or related field. Three years coordinating/buying retail produce department Ads. Must be able to demonstrate the understanding of retail markup and margins. Minimum High School degree required while BA or BS preferred.
  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills including reading, writing, and verbally communicating effectively and professionally with other business departments, customers, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Database software.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to think independently and to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of different situations without set guidelines. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, report or schedule form. plan judiciously, and balance workload successfully: Customer visits, working in the office, and working remote.
