Job Description: 
The VP of Sales will work closely with the Marketing team, Business Development team and the CEO to develop and execute long term strategy to profitably develop new business to add to the current business portfolio. The ideal candidate is both strategic and tactical with entrepreneurial leadership experience and a proven record of success in growing early stage revenues.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Develop annual sales plans along with the strategies, tactics, and resources necessary to achieve goals
  • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required
  • Monitor market activity and provide feedback and recommendations to executive team
  • Compile and review quantitative sales data and react rapidly to changing trends or new competitive threats and opportunities
  • Work with Marketing team to leverage core product messaging and content
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Develops and assists with new sales leads
  • Develops sales proposals and presentations
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and drive
Requirements: 
  • Bachelors degree required / advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum of 5+ years in sales leadership/management role, managing 5 or more direct reports
  • Broad functional experience in areas of strategic planning, sales, business and market development, market research and planning, and promotions/advertising
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities that allow projects and goals to be completed on time
  • Excellent verbal, written and customer service skills
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to be a mentor
  • Professional presence and ability to work with high profile customers
  • Must work effectively with senior-level management and executives
