We seek an aggressive Sales Representative to join our thriving team. This role is geared for a True Hunter, someone who is Competitive by nature and can think independently. The right Sales Representative is someone who will burn a hole in our phones making calls and pound the street making face-to-face visits necessary for success. Our ideal candidate has excellent professional communication skills, is resilient and highly organized, and has the ability to manage several accounts at once. We also look for a minimum of 2 years documented success in business to business sales, an understanding of the fresh foods supply logistics, and superior research skills.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Bring in new business by actively cold calling
  • Build and grow a book of business and provide account management as needed
  • Develop and maintain historical perspective on the marketplace to analyze and predict future trends and needs
  • Maintain familiarity with competitor’s products and services
  • Introduce new specialty food items to our customer base
  • Additional duties as needed
  • B2B sales experience a plus
  • 1 year of experience in food sales a plus
  • Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Highly organized with strong multitasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
  • Proven success managing accounts
  • Motivation to research and provide proactive solutions
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced in product specification and quality parameters
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software programs as needed
  • Experience in using CRM
