We are a women-owned, produce distributor with over 40 years of experience, serving retail, foodservice & wholesale customers.
We are looking to expand on our sales-team with an individual that can expand our commodity offering to existing and new customers. Someone who is Competitive by nature and can think independently. The right Sales Representative is someone who will burn a hole in our phones making calls and pound the street making face-to-face visits necessary for success. Our ideal candidate has excellent professional communication skills, is resilient and highly organized, and can manage several accounts at once. We provide the support, training, a well-respected brand, Produce Pro Software, excellent accounting support, a large vendor base, and buying power.
The ideal candidate:
- Must be able to think strategically and develop long-term plans and relationships
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills; able to work effectively in a fast-paced, high- pressure environment
- Have an understanding of wholesale operations, margins, and profitability
- Motivation to research and provide proactive solutions
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate customer records
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other computer software programs as needed
- Maintains High integrity - honors commitments and the Values of entire organization
