JOB FILLED - Regional Sales Representative Eastern U.S.

Job Description: 

Love Beets Regional Manager/Sales position is a key role in the development of the brand through the selling of company products to retail and foodservice clients in a defined geographical region (Eastern US).

The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling the process of prospecting, selling and servicing customers. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of brand building through account management and building consumer sales of value added products that exceed expectations.

Requirements: 
  • At least three years of experience as a regional manager or similar position in the selling of value added produce items.
  • Knowledge of sales processes and the end to end needs for running a sales region.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Expertise in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Undergraduate college degree.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Accountable to budgets for spending and sales revenue. Must sell the full line of products at approved deals for each client and overall region.
  • Organize and schedule meetings with clients. Must be able to develop sales presentations that would include the overall strategy.
  • Full financial accountability for each client that includes logistics cost and trade spending.
  • Must spend adequate amount of time prospecting for new clients and includes cold calling.
  • Book flights, hotels, and cars for business travel and events and stay within parameters for spending.
  • Be proficient in management of sales data that is both external and internal.
  • Internally report sales pipeline and historical performance of sales.
  • Monitor competitive environment and understand price cost margin ratios to calculate best scenarios for the company.
  • Manage third party brokers who may represent our products to clients in specified markets. Broker management must be comprehensive and follow company process.
  • Collection of payments from clients through work with internal accounting roles.
  • Full responsibility for forecasting sales on a regular basis and also building future budgets for the organization to use to schedule production and all other.
