Job Description: 

Supervise and coordinate the activities of sanitation workers. Supervise the workers within assigned areas to ensure production orders are met; ensure compliance with food safety and human safety regulations and proper job assignments in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Supervise Sanitation crew ensuring that the processing lines, bagging machines and all production areas are cleaned and sanitized in time for start up.
  • Evaluate the condition of all production areas to determine the number of Sanitation employees needed in each area to complete cleaning and sanitation in a timely manner.
  • Inspect and swab “problem” areas to reduce the number of ATP failures.
  • Ensure that employees in assign work area are following company policies and procedure and issue citations to employees as needed.
  • Conduct new hire trainings, monthly safety tailgate meetings, work area inspections and GMP/ food safety training as required by QA department.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for product tracing and financial service department.
Requirements: 
  • 3-5 years experience working in a production environment.
  • Bilingual required.
  • Computer skills – Microsoft office.
  • Good verbal/ written communication skills.
  • Enjoy working with people.
