We are seeking a Multi-Unit Accounts (MUA) Associate to play a critical support role in the Multi-Unit Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will have some experience and/or interest in agriculture/produce sales. This position requires accuracy in a high amount of data entry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to exhibit independence, flexibility, and good judgment to respond to changing priorities.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintains department data including account and sales tracking, code mapping, market baskets, price sheets, bill backs, etc.
- Generates customized specification and reports, such as year-end number runs, as needed
- Builds positive internal and external work relationships that promote cohesion and success
- Manages customer visits, field tours and other educational projects
- Generates and implements customer-friendly handling guides
- Assists with RFPs in support of new business
- Communicates with customers and members regarding changes in pricing
- Sets up promos, COGNOS reports and invoices, invoice processing
- Generates specs and reports that support department business goals
- Coordinates contract renewal process with the MUA Director and Purchasing Directors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university; OR 2 year college degree plus 2 years of produce related experience; OR equivalent combination of education/produce experience.
- Strong computer skills, including database entry and ability to learn new programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems independently and with sound judgment
- Ability to demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and dependability in a fast paced environment
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, flexibility, enthusiasm and teamwork
Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive hourly pay and benefits package. This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Employer subsidized health, vision and dental insurance effective on the first of the month following hire. PTO accrual and paid holidays from date of hire.
