The Northwest Cherry Growers and Washington State Fruit Commission are seeking to obtain a professional public relations, advertising and merchandising presence in the North Central market for Northwest sweet cherries.
In short, we are looking for someone awesome to lead our marketing efforts in the South Atlantic Region. You’ll play a huge role within our promotions team, traveling to share our category research and promotional programs with produce retailers. Though the position is all-encompassing within the territory, it is largely focused on merchandising/promotional activities within the produce retail channel. Strong experience in this area is preferred. Contractor must be based in the North Central Region (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin).
Season-focused sub-contractors are compensated with a daily rate plus expenses and a percentage of qualifying promotions executed in-season. This is a part-time position.
