Okanagan Specialty Fruits seeks a dynamic, self-starter to serve as a Marketing Manager with expertise in B2B marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day B2B marketing functions that drive demand for our flagship product, Arctic® apples. As a Marketing Manager, you will also manage the execution of plans, collateral and trade show activities. Our Marketing and Communication team all work virtually. While we are a small team, we pride ourselves on getting things done! You must be very personable, organized, self-motivated, and have a strong desire for success. Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or another related degree; or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  • Eight (8)+ years of B2B marketing and communication, with preference given to candidates who have successfully executed B2B marketing campaigns within the food industry. 
  • Experience in creating and coordinating integrated marketing plans that include digital and non-digital campaign methods.
  • Extensive experience in creating and designing business presentations using skills in strategy, copy, & design. 
  • Experience in managing and monitoring campaign budgets in spreadsheets.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and best practices.
  • Professional, confident, creative, and dynamic personality.
  • Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills, including creative copywriting. This includes experience in presenting to various audiences.
  • Maintains a high degree of accuracy with specific attention to detail and organization.
  • Has managed external vendors thru successful execution of campaigns.
  • Adept at managing changing priorities and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment.
  • Willingness to travel by air, train, or car as the job requires.
  • Software Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and shared file applications such as MS Teams or DropBox. Advanced knowledge of MS PowerPoint or other presentation development software. Website editing experience with WordPress / Oxygen applications. Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop is a plus.
Position Responsibilities
  • Prepare and execute measurable, creative multichannel and omnichannel marketing communication plans that align with the company’s strategy and are within the established budget. 
  • Collaborate with other Marketing & Communication team members to ensure all MarCom efforts are consistent in messaging and visuals and support the applicable Marketing Plan. 
  • Analyze, interpret, and draw conclusions from marketing campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness.
  • Develop and execute cooperative marketing and promotional campaigns with customers that drive demand for Arctic® apples. 
  • Identify, manage, and organize assigned channel’s exhibitions, events, and sponsorships. Develop pre-established objectives, prepare post-event reports detailing results, and manage follow-through as needed. 
  • Support the sales teams by designing collateral, presentations, and other promotional pieces.
  • Prepare creative business presentations for internal and external use.
  • Ensure corporate identity, brand guidelines, and key messaging are consistent in all corporate and marketing communications.
  • Prepare digital and print marketing campaigns or materials with the communications team.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration and provide support to the company’s internal communication strategy.
  • Employ and manage projects with external vendors and build relationships to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify new opportunities for customer growth by researching potential buyers’ needs and buying habits.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
