Job Description: 
ProducePay is seeking a new team member to fill the role of Head of Partnerships in Los Angeles, California. Please review the responsibilities and requirements below and apply today if you believe that you may be a good fit!
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Identify, structure and execute on a series of ProducePay strategic partnerships with banks, farmer co-operatives, ag input retailers and fresh produce packaging, transporting, marketing, distributing, processing and retailing companies
  • Work very closely with the Chief Executive Office and Chief Commercial Officer
  • Maintain and manage established critical relationships and accounts, aside from a few critical accounts that will remain with the CEO
  • Potentially recruit account managers as the number of partnerships expand
  • Potentially scope software services (working closely with the CTO) to help entrench partner relationships
  • Report to CEO and will have no direct reports, initially
Requirements: 
  • Produce industry experience and network
  • Presence to represent ProducePay with important strategic relationship
  • Dynamic and able to provide analytical backup and quick responses necessary to create and service a partnership
  • Proven deal making experience
  • Able to think laterally and structure JV, collaboration or soft commitment agreements with partners
  • Proven ability to manage competing agendas in a partnership
  • Able to create and close a deal with a slow-moving F and A corporate
