Job Description: 
The Warehouse Administrative Support position is responsible for handling the transactions related to shipping and receiving. This includes entering data into the Company database, assembling papers for shipments, assembling incoming load paperwork, communication with warehouse staff, sales team and food safety.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Completion of proper paperwork for shipping orders
  • Completion of proper paperwork for receiving orders
  • Assist in dispatching as necessary
  • Assist in answering incoming calls 
  • Direct support to Warehouse Manager and Supervisors as needed
  • Record pertinent data as required by Food Safety Policy
  • Keep appropriate records to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
  • Assist in physical inventory counts
  • Ensure proper stock rotation – FIFO method
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
  • Assist in maintaining the security in the warehouse
  • Conduct operation in a manner that promotes safety
  • Other tasks as directed

Physical Demands:

  • Required to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and pulling
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to includeextreme heat, humidity and cold
Requirements: 
  • High School Education preferred.
  • Should be able to read and speak English
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus.
  • Basic familiarity with computers and MS Office

Food Safety Requirements:

  • Knowledge and understanding of GMPs, HACCP, Allergen Awareness & Quality/Hold procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding SQF Overview
  • Knowledge and understanding of Management Commitment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Policy Statement
  • Knowledge and understanding of Organizational Chart
  • Knowledge and understanding when reporting any Food Safety issues
  • Knowledge and understanding of Nonconforming Product or Equipment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Complaint Management
  • Knowledge and understanding of Transportation and Delivery Procedure
