We have an immediate opportunity for a Food Safety Manager to join our team.
The Food Safety Manager will have primary responsibility for over 10,000+ acres in Salinas, Huron, Oxnard and Yuma, growing such commodities as iceberg, romaine, celery, spring mix and spinach. This position is responsible for overseeing the compliance of all food safety policies and regulations. This position will implement, and enforce Food Safety and Security standards, policies, and programs including food security, regulatory audits, quality systems review process (QSR), food safety training program, standard operating procedures (SOP’s), product inspections, food safety audits, and standardized work instructions. This is a full-time position eligible for competitive compensation and benefit package including health, retirement program, paid vacation, and paid holidays.

(c) Required to have possession, or ability to qualify for Qualified Applicator License and California Pest Control Advisor License.
- The Food Safety Manager will need to be a leader who can work alone and work as a team member with owners and field personnel.
- Strong skills in data collection, management, and organization
- Proficient with computers and analytical operations.
- College degree in Food Science / Agriculture, related fields or 3-5 years’ experience in:
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) highly desired
