Spring Born Inc is a brand new business dedicated to automated baby leaf lettuce cultivation in a 2.5 acre greenhouse.
We’re looking for a Controlled Environment Grower to grow for us and with us in Silt, CO.
Your job will be to join the horticulture team overseeing continuous lettuce production. Collectively the horticulture team will oversee 18 production lines producing 3000+ pounds of leafy greens each and every day of the year. Under the direction of the Lead Grower, all aspects of the greenhouse environment are controlled and monitored by the horticulture team. Lighting, temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, pest management, fertilizers, water quality, seed selection, soils, etc.
This is a full time position with team members working continuous 5 day shifts each beginning on a different day of the week. The grow system and all related equipment are being installed in March and you will participate in the construction of the grow system. First platinizing is currently scheduled for the end of June.
