StePac’s mission is to provide fresh-produce packaging and post-harvest handling guidance that enable extended produce shelf life, exemplary esthetics, and eco-positivity. StePac as an immediate opening for a Technical & Business Development Manager covering North America.
As the Technical & Business Development Manager for North America you will identify and explore new geographies, new products, new markets, supporting technologies that complement MAP, opportunities to replicate existing success and potential partnerships with OEMs. You will provide technical leadership in North America as well as assist sales team and distributors in materializing opportunities.
Principal Accountabilities:

Go to market plan for newly developed and existing products in North America:
- Identify, map and prioritize opportunities
- Ensure that we have the right pricing strategy
- Ensure that sales team have all required marketing material
- Work with sales team and distributors to materialize these opportunities

Explore and develop new territories in North America:
- Scope and scale of opportunity in each territory.
- Identification of partners to materialize opportunity
- Go to Market Plan
- Focus sales team and distributors on opportunities that are scalable and there is proven value

Responsibility for comprehensive technical support in North America including:
- Preparation of working protocols
- Ascertaining that trials are thoroughly conducted and reported
- Preparation of value propositions to the customer
- Inspections
- Capture success stories and relay them to Marketing
- Conduct ongoing market research in NA market to identify trends and future product requirements so that these can be translated into the development of improved packaging solutions and features
- Interface with partners such as machine manufacturers and converters
- Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development
Benefits:
