Job Description: 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Collect and catalog food safety documentation and compliance paperwork from new and existing growers/suppliers
  • Confirm and collect organic documentation for all organic sales company-wide
  • Understand and navigate all available food safety and organic databases with an emphasis on Azzule
  • Manage and keep updated multiple customer portals for food safety and general document compliance for all company offices
  • Complete onboarding paperwork for new customers and annual renewal paperwork for existing customers (food safety documentation, questionnaires, letters of guarantee, indemnity agreements, W-9s, COIs, etc.)
  • Main point of contact to assist offices with all certificates of insurance request or updates
  • Collaborate with Azzule on FSVP programs for all products imported by Tom Lange Company International, Inc
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Food Safety Modernization Act and inform Food Safety Team and Manager of any changes or updates that may or do affect day-to-day business
  • Stay aware of new regulations, domestic or international, which could affect day-to-day business or areas of food safety and/or compliance; and Other projects/duties as assigned or needed by Company.
Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • AA/AS degree in business, compliance, accounting, or related field
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; and Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
