We currently are looking for a Sales Professional to join the team. This position is primarily responsible for fresh produce sales.
We are looking for someone who will build long term demand with trade customers and consistently achieve high levels of sales performance. Members of our sales team must believe strongly in developing relationships built upon trust and transparency. You must demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, dedication to skills development, collaborative teamwork & information-based decision making.
- Experienced subject matter expertise of the produce selling process including logistics and documentation.
- Fresh berry or fruit sales experience desired but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in some channel of distribution of perishable products.
- Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in utilizing information and communication technologies, along with key sales analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and collaboration, and the ability to maintain strong team member working relationships.
- Strong skills in excel and computer systems, be ready to demonstrate this.
- Domestic business travel required. Possibility of international business travel. You will need a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
