Based in Orosi, CA, Valley Packing Inc., is a newly established packer of Citrus Fruit.
We now have an opportunity for a Produce Sales Representative to join us in Orosi, CA.
This individual will be responsible for developing new business and maintaining existing key customer accounts, as well as providing a high level of sales, service and product knowledge to our customers.
Candidates must have at least 1-2 years previous sales experience and should be motivated to learn the produce sales business. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply.
The ideal candidate will be detail- and process-oriented, organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must be a results-oriented team player able to communicate effectively with various teams within the company and with our business partners in Texas and Mexico.
Requirements:
- Experience in or familiarity with produce sales preferred (we will consider an individual with proven sales ability in another field)
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- Drive, initiative, and motivation to succeed
- Passionate about accomplishing sales goals
- Ability to work independently and deliver high results
- Reliable and trustworthy with good work ethic
Skills:
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent phone skills, people skills, and closing skills
- Must be organized and focused
- An ability to work on several projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
