JOB FILLED - Vice President of Sales

Job Description:

Could this be the best job you ever had?

Want your career to have a serious impact - then this could be the job for you!  We’re a large family business with two centrally located distribution centers in the Pacific Northwest.  But the best part is that we’ve got a lot of room to grow!  And you’ll be provided with all the tools and support needed to help us with that growth.  All we ask in return is a strong attention to detail, dedication, hard work, and a bit of fun and humor along the way.

If you enjoy building, expanding, penetrating, developing and maintaining market share, then this will be a great fit!  We’re looking for a highly motivated, level-headed, and skilled professional to be a part of our team in an exploding marketplace.

Pacific Coast Fruit Company was founded in 1977 by Emil and Kathleen Nemarnik. Located in Portland, Oregon, the company originally consisted of just one small warehouse and eight employees, four of which were family. Since then, we’ve expanded to become one of the largest independent produce distributors in the Northwest. Our Pacific Coast Fruit Company family continues to grow with over 500 employees and two large scale warehouses in both Portland and Seattle.

The culture of PCFCo is one that values building relationships and inspiring innovation within the industry. We handle our business like we handle our produce: with care, consistency, and a healthy environment to grow. You might see our trucks driving around, but what you don’t see is the incredible culture, service, and integrity that makes Pacific Coast Fruit Company the most desirable distributor for food service, retail, and wholesale customers.

The VP of Sales, based in Seattle (Kent), WA is responsible for the entire sales process. Your number-1 priority will be to develop and implement various strategic sales funnels that promote sales growth. The VP of Sales will provide the strategic leadership for the sales organization, promoting our brand and creating and maintaining positive and profitable relationships with customers. Success will be measured through achieving targeted company initiatives and meeting volume and financial goals.

What you’ll gain:

  • The opportunity to contribute, learn a lot, and have fun along the way
  • The chance to work with a company where you’ll be valued and respected
  • Competitive pay and comprehensive health insurance package including, medical, dental, vision, long term disability, 401(k) and profit-sharing plan as well as paid time off
