Job Description: 

The Partner Development Manager supports our customers and partners in North America to make sure they have a world-class experience in dealing with Autogrow, drives revenue growth and product penetration through the delivery of products, services and solutions via our partners to customers regionwide and beyond.

The Partner Development Manager will go “the extra mile” to ensure that the customer and  partner experience is second to none, and in doing so, he/she will be a role model to the rest of the organisation. They are also responsible for identifying, onboarding, assisting with training, and managing partners throughout North America. As an integral member of a global, relatively small and busy team, you’ll need to be agile and able to roll your sleeves up.

Requirements: 
  • 5 years + experience in a business development or commercial role, managing partners across multiple geographies in North America.
  • Deep and in-depth understanding, experience and network within the controlled environment agriculture industry within North America.
  • Ability to identify the key strategic and tactical aspects of commercial partner agreements quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrable success in negotiating with channel partners to achieve sustainable and successful outcomes.
  • Outstanding commercial management skills and a demonstrated ability to design commercial constructs that support Autogrow’s objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • To achieve revenue growth and product penetration targets through the delivery of products, services and solutions via our partners to customers regionwide and beyond.
  • Provide input into the overall and regional Autogrow Partner Strategy and annual plans, which drive customer & partner satisfaction as well as sales performance and partner ROI.
  • Proactively identify new commercial opportunities in order to achieve sales targets, as well as service performance improvements.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with decision makers and influential parties at all levels within the partner’s organisation.
  • To assist and develop partners as key distribution channels for Autogrow products & services; own the commercial relationship and outcomes with all partners and customers in the assigned region.
  • Negotiate new and changes to distribution agreements in line with Autogrow objectives.
  • Responding promptly to customer & partner inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers & partners through various channels in a timely and professional manner at all times.
  • Manage the partner planning, opportunity management and cyclical reporting activities, utilizing Autogrow’s CRM system and corresponding reporting tools.
  • Provide input to and help execute marketing-owned demand generating initiatives.
  • Relationships across the company will be necessary; this role principally works with the Customer Support, Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, Finance and global Sales teams within Autogrow.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Consider and promote the best interests of Autogrow in all actions, ensuring a paramount and sustainable focus on our values and reputation.
  • Follow processes and systems in place to support and encourage safe work practices in all areas. Eliminate, isolate or minimise hazards.
  • Make sure contractors or visitors on site are made aware of potential hazards.
  • Adhere to safe working practices whilst at customer or other sites.
  • Any other reasonable and relevant duties as required by Autogrow from time to time.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers and partners at all times.
  • Given the time zone differences that customers and partners are in, willingness and ability to be available and contacted outside of normal business hours.
Education: 
  • Proficient in using computer technology.
  • Can readily create, analyse and interpret technical Information.
  • Can multi-task and knows how to prioritise.
