AVOCADOLOVE in McAllen, TX imports Mexican-grown avocado to the U.S.A., Canada, China, and other countries worldwide. Our clientele includes chain stores, wholesalers, and food service businesses. We started our company to give growers in Mexico the opportunity to market their products on a global scale. Currently, we are handling sales for Mexico-based growers, and we look forward to working with more Mexican avocado growers in the near future.
We have an immediate opening for an Avocado Sales Pro to join our team in McAllen, TX.
This individual will develop and manage sales accounts. Job entails finding new accounts and handling all sales and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Hands on environment - involved in all aspects of sales department
- Proactively creating opportunities for additional sales with new corporate accounts at a national and international level as well as servicing existing customers
- Seeking to improve sales revenue in line with established sales targets
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of all sales and customers
- Program selling / contract sales / FOB sales
- National retail program development
- Sales planning & market forecasting
- AR management
- 1-3 years of prior Avocado sales experience
- College degree preferred in related field
- Strong Computer proficiency, a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent organizational & negotiating skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make sound decisions and solve problems
- Bilingual, Spanish a plus
