We started West Village Farms because we love to eat, and we believe that freshness equates to the most wholesome and best tasting foods. Our history stems from growing edible greens, flowers, and plants for Michelin-rated and James Beard-awarded restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area.
We grow, harvest, and deliver our greens fresh from our indoor farm in Vancouver WA. Our mission is to grow the cleanest and tastiest greens to complement the thriving food culture of the Pacific Northwest.
We currently are looking for a friendly, flexible, and out-going team player with a passion for food, sustainable farming, and customer service.
Working from their Seattle, WA area home office, the Brand Ambassador will travel, set up demos, and work with retailers and farmer’s markets throughout the Seattle area. This position is instrumental in helping educate and market our unique brand of products to our local communities and to assist retail stores in growing and maintaining sales of our salads.
The Brand Ambassador will be knowledgeable and excited about West Village Farms’ products and growing practices. This position will promote and educate retailers and customers on the uniqueness and benefits of West Village Farms salads and microgreens while providing exemplary customer service.
- Have previous customer service and sales experience.
- Have the scheduling flexibility and the ability to travel to multiple locations in the Seattle area, in order to set up and demo in different retailers and farmer’s markets.
- Be friendly, outgoing, and eager to share great food with customers.
- Possesses strong communication skills.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Have a proficiency with computers and Microsoft software.
- Be able to set up and breakdown heavy equipment such as tents and tables.
- Be able to comfortably stand for several hours at a time.
- Possess Food Handler’s Card and understand and practice food and work safety at all times.
- Sampling and displaying West Village Farms products and POS materials as each event.
- Maintain and Replenish inventory of Demo supplies.
- Collect information on how West Village Farms produces are displayed.
- Track sales of products at each event and communicate this to the Sales & Marketing Manager.
- Tracks and communicates product sampling needs in a timely manner.
