Pack Fresh Processors LLC, is a multi-generation customer processor of baby leaf greens, located in Watsonville, CA.
We have an opening for a Human Resources Administrator for value added packing shed with seasonal operations in Watsonville, CA and Yuma, AZ.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Support management in recruiting, screening, and placing qualified candidates in open positions
- Ensure all new-hire paperwork is completed on time including health insurance enrollments
- Ensure all re-hired employees are enrolled on company’s ADP time clocks before they start employment. (about 60+ people)
- While working closely with Labor Contractor management, ensure timecards from each crew are accurate and correct for payroll/payment
- Interact with employees/managers/supervisors for any labor needs and/or labor relations
- Ensure that employees are trained prior to starting work, conducting/coordinating necessary orientations and periodic safety meetings
- Work with the Labor Contractor ensure the safety of each employee and that safety policies and procedures are observed
- Ensure the Food Safety Practices are understood and followed, performing trainings as necessary
- Effectively and promptly deal with all personnel issues, including accident/incident investigations, conflicts resolution, disciplinary action, and terminations
- Other Administrative duties (ie: review contractor invoices, review contractor time punches, production report generation, etc.)
Skills:
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Understanding of general industrial safety and food safety requirements
- Basic knowledge of human resources management of policies, procedures, regulations and Ca/Fed labor law
- Excellent judgment, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Must have ability to effectively communicate with employees and management to proactively identify business issues and develop/implement constructive solutions. (must be bilingual – Spanish and English)
- Use sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information
- Working knowledge of computer terminals and Microsoft Office products
- Must have the ability to work in wet and cold/refrigerated environments, around moving and noisy industrial machinery on occasional floor visits
- Regular and predictable on-site attendance is required
