Job Description:
Eli & Ali's Regional Sales representative is a key position for the brand. We are looking to develop our company's products in retail and foodservice in the northeast area.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and building customer relationships to achieve maximum sales, profitability and growth of Eli & Ali’s. This person must be well organized, flexible and passionate about the process of brand building.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Responsible for the full sale process from first contact to close.
- Maintain weekly contact of all accounts and input sales orders in our software system.
- Organize and schedule meetings with clients. Must be able to develop sales presentations that would include the overall strategy.
- Must spend an adequate amount of time prospecting for new clients and includes cold calling.
- Communicate daily with management to establish projections and overall feedback.
- Contribute to weekly review meetings of established sales goals with management.
- Monitor competitive environments and understand price cost margin ratios to calculate best scenarios for the company.
- Collection of payments from clients through working with the accounting department.
- Develop value-added sales proposals and strategies.
Requirements:
- Experience as a sales rep or similar position in the selling of produce items.
- Engaging personality, tenacity and personable.
- Knowledge of full sales processes and northeast territory.
- Ability to manage accounts effectively to meet targets.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Expertise in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
