We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager for our Arizona operations in Amado, AZ.
 
The Arizona Accounting Manager is responsible for all accounting operations at Wholesum in Arizona, by overseeing, tracking and evaluating day-to-day accounting tasks and activities to comply with General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Accounting manager shall implement and maintain an adequate system of  accounting records for collecting, analyzing, verifying and producing timely financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of the company’s financial results. Work with CPAs to report and pay taxes on a timely manner. This position will report directly to Director of Finance.

Requirements: 
The person we’re looking for will have:
  • BS degree in Accounting, Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of management experience in Accounting in a corporate environment, preferably in Agriculture or Manufacturing.
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV.
  • Knowledge required of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
  • Moderate language skills in Spanish are preferred.
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Operations, Production, Sales & Marketing) in development and execution.
  • Management skills to recruit, develop and evaluate team members.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively with peers, leadership, vendors, and customers.
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
  • Strong forecasting, developing metrics and analytical skill.
  • High integrity and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively work in a challenging and fast paced environment and ability to multi-task.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player and good time-management skills with a strong work ethic.
