We now have an opening for a Plant Manager/Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Crows Landing, CA.
The Plant Manager and Quality Control Supervisor will work directly other members of Management, Employees, Contract Laborers and Customer/In house Quality Assurance personnel. Responsibilities will include planning, assigning, directing workflow and managing inventory and storage. As well as managing and provides direction, technical assistance, and support to customer/in-house quality assurance technicians. This position will appraise performance, address complaints and problems and be involved in all aspects of food safety, Good Manufacturing Practice training, working on quality and food safety issues and customer complaints. As well as enforce all company rules, policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, College degree preferred.
- 3 to 5 years experience in a food packing facility in a supervisory capacity.
- Working knowledge of food safety standards including HAACP, GMP, and SOP.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications.
