Texas Farm Patch is a working Farm located 15 miles South of San Antonio near Pleasanton TX. We are looking for a qualified Administrative Assistant to help the Farm Manager oversee farm administrative details including farm payroll, personnel paperwork, food safety document maintenance.
We are seeking a highly motivated Administrative and Food Safety Assistant to join our team. The ideal applicant is detail oriented with demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable & Receivables, and other clerical functions. Additional qualifications required include excellent listening skills, strong analytical skills, and a self-solve attitude. The position will be based in our Pleasanton, TX facility.
In this role, you will be responsible for inputting invoices into Quickbooks, monthly processing of all company purchasing cards, ensure data entry corrections, process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, and ensure food safety guidelines are followed in the packing process following USDA/GFSI specifications.
The successful candidate will have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in time management, handling multiple priorities.
- Desire to work as a team with results-driven approach.
- Farming Industry experience, a plus but not required.
- Bilingual -Spanish a plus but not required.
This position is full time Monday-Friday daytime hours. It will require dependability and the ability to make decisions in the absence of direct supervision. The position on located on a working vegetable farm. Agricultural background would be helpful but not a requirement.
Compensation is dependent on experience. Food Safety training and experience is a plus and will be considered if hired.
