The successful candidate will have excellent people skills, astrong work ethic, and a motivation to contribute to a growing business. They will be detail-oriented and able to analyze changing market factors and have a comprehensive understanding of the fresh produce supply-chain.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Maintain book of business with customers and shippers.
  • Have the desire to learn detailed knowledge of company products and inventory.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, ability to make decisions on the fly for profitability and customer service.
  • Maintain current customer base with strong customer service orientation.
  • Cold calling and developing new customers.
  • Effective negotiation and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent follow-through skills.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in produce sales. Preferably in Fruit/Citrus/Asian Produce.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Computer Proficient.
