Responsibilities & Duties:
- Maintain book of business with customers and shippers.
- Have the desire to learn detailed knowledge of company products and inventory.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Organized, detail-oriented, ability to make decisions on the fly for profitability and customer service.
- Maintain current customer base with strong customer service orientation.
- Cold calling and developing new customers.
- Effective negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Excellent follow-through skills.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in produce sales. Preferably in Fruit/Citrus/Asian Produce.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Computer Proficient.
