Job Description:
Revol Greens is seeking to add a Food Safety Manager to their team in Owatonna, MN.
Assist with the overall compliance to regulatory standards regarding food safety.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain food safety operational requirements, policies, and procedures in accordance with Good Agricultural Practice (GAP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Federal and State laws
- Plan, manage and execute external and internal audits, customer audits, and other quality assurance audits with support of Food Safety
- Assist Food Safety Director with management of overall compliance and regulatory standards in the areas of Food Safety
- Maintain all individual and corporate licensing pertaining to Food Safety
- Prepare and deliver workforce training programs with regards to Food Safety
- Assist in developing, reviewing, monitoring, and updating, as required; policies and procedures related to Food Safety
- Maintain confidentiality on all aspects of company records
- Manage, direct, and supervise the Sanitation Team
- Assist when needed with emergency administration
- Assist and perform any other related duties as required or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable education/experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Comfortable working alone with minimal supervision
- Team building skills
- Great communication skills
- Management skills
Working Conditions:
- Work will be performed 60% in the greenhouse with 40% in the office for documentation and any other paperwork requested
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a cold environment (34-38 degrees) for some tasks
- Ability to work in a hot & humid environment (80 – 100 degrees)
- Repetitive arm, shoulder, and hand movements the entirety of the shift
- Ability to lift 30lbs
