The Human Resources Manager will oversee the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department.
The Munger Companies have 260 full-time employees in three states and several hundred seasonal employees during blueberry harvest.

Administration of the FLC contract approval process.

May require visiting the ranches in CA, WA and OR for contract and wage and hour compliance.

Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified job applicants for open salaried and hourly positions.

Oversees new hire onboarding and the payroll process with expertise in using ADP and Kronos.

Handles investigations and corrective actions.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

Supports company-wide information meetings such as open enrollment, trainings, and other meetings.

Bi-lingual in Spanish communication required.
