Job Description:
Pinnacle Fresh is an Importer/Exporter primarily sourcing fruit from Australia and New Zealand. Our Headquarters are in Melbourne, Australia.

We are currently seeking a Sales & Operations professional to perform the below tasks.
Job Responsibilities:

Manage quality of inbound and outbound fruit.

Major commodities are currently Citrus, Cherries, Grapes, Kiwifruit & Litchi.

Make decisions on actions required due to quality or inventory levels.

Manage our 3rd party warehouse communications regarding logistics, packing and sales.

Communicate and take initiative with all vendors and customers.

Travel during specific times of the year. Most travel will be within the LA area, primarily between LAX/Port and Riverside.

Desire to learn more about the business and aspire to progress into more categories and senior responsibilities.

Skills & Qualifications:

Strong verbal and written English communication.

2+ years of experience in the Produce Industry.

Experience with sales, procurement, logistics and quality control.

Available to travel to pack houses and customer meetings when required.

Effective time management.
-
Ability to separate yourself from frustrating situations and guide our partners to positive and efficient solutions.

Capable of occasionally lifting 40lb cartons and be willing to be in refrigeration to check quality.
