DLJ Produce was founded in 1993 with the goal of bridging the communication and building partnerships among growers, shippers, retailers and foodservice customers. Currently, DLJ ships to more than 20 states and several countries with working relationships with more than 100 growers and shippers worldwide. The DLJ programs include year-round domestic and global shipping, sales and marketing.
We are looking for a Sales Assistant in Long Beach, CA. As Sales Assistant, you will provide the sales team with support and coordination. The position requires a hands-on approach and close collaboration with sales, warehouse and transportation departments.

Requirements:
- Knowledge of order entry and billing
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Famous Software is preferred
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving
- Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
- Excellent personal skills and phone etiquette
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate early mornings, when needed
- Enjoys a fast-paced and willing to learn environment
- Strong work ethic, team player attitude and punctuality
- Fresh produce sales and/or production experience a plus
