We are a premier Southern California fresh fruit and vegetable processor. We are dedicated in providing our customers with quality service, distribution, and manufacturing.
We are currently looking for a Production Manager. Under the direction of the Vice President, oversee plant production, safety, quality and cost control; direct workforce in a safe environment, maintaining accident-free work record while producing a quality product with high levels of production.

Requirements:
- Minimum 10 Years “Hands On” Managing experience and skills in standard costing, and general manufacturing knowledge is necessary.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and general plant safety practices and procedures.
- Computer literacy in word processing and spreadsheet programs is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree is a plus.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead people in safety, food safety, quality, customer service and cost efficiencies in the plant.
- Define and recommend plant objectives; develop specific short and long range plans and programs together with supporting budget requests.
- Drive daily success by utilizing manufacturing processes in each facet of the plant.
- Measure results against specified key operating indicator targets.
- Direct, coach and develop the plant managers, supervisors/line leads in the execution of their responsibilities.
- Plan and determine requirements necessary for the successful rollout of new products.
- Lead coordination of master planning, production, receiving, purchasing and inventory management.
- Monitor and evaluate cost per pound, pound per man hour & product yields standards.
- Develop good employee relations based upon company vision.
- Interpret company policy for hourly employees.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
- Responsible for the direct supervision of Production Personnel including shift managers and supervisors.
- Accountable for the continual improvement of processes, procedures and infrastructure to improve profitability.
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports and correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
