Job Description: 

River Fresh Farms is a major produce company in Salinas, CA.  We are a grower, shipper and packer, of a variety of crops, that sells to top national supermarkets, major wholesalers, and food service companies.

We are seeking a Business Development and Sales Analyst to join our team in Salinas, California.

The successful candidate must be able to pay close attention to detail, possess the analytical skills to detect patterns and trends, as well as working knowledge of the company’s process. The Sales Analyst must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with management and sales staff. Candidates must have exceptional advanced computer skills working with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, etc., excellent analytical and organizational skills, and a positive attitude.

Requirements: 
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Produce industry experience preferred.
  • Must be a Microsoft Excel expert.
  • Fast paced multi-tasking efficiency, and time management skills a must.
  • Personal work ethic, commitment to task, and drive for success.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically.
  • Capability to manage projects and plans cross-functionally.
Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Develop, create, analyze, maintain and distribute various reports containing dynamic information essential to the customer and other internal functions on a monthly basis.
  • Weekly generation of reports and in-depth analyses of data for the assigned product.
  • Gather and prepare sales data to be used in planning, supplier and trade meeting presentations.
  • Evaluate and create new or modified methods and procedures to improve report content, accuracy, ease and efficiency of access.
  • Support business decisions by tracking and providing reports on opportunities analysis, promotional programs, and forecasting sales.
  • Ad hoc data analysis and team support on special initiatives.
