Job Description: 

NPC, LLC, located in Plano, TX, is a fresh produce supply chain procurement and management firm specializing in procurement and end-to-end risk management for the food service industry.

NPC, LLC has an exciting career opportunity available for a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a National Accounts Manager. This person will be responsible to secure both regional and national business, assist and support our customers in determining the right distribution partners based on their customized needs or desires, ensure quality produce and service levels, at the most competitive margins or delivered price and continue to maintain, bring continual value and achieve reduced food costing objectives and enable the company to meet and exceed client objectives and goals. The ideal candidate would preferably have an existing knowledge of fresh produce, seasonality, costing and distribution. The ability to communicate effectively across multiple partners to support the end customer is critical, including organized efforts to initiate customized projects, meet deadlines in a continued effort to further bring value to NPC’s LLC growing customer base while maintaining strong relations with more than 100+ distribution partners across the country.

Responsibilities & Duties: 
  • Under the general direction of the National Accounts Vice President, is responsible for their individual account penetration, sales performance of an assigned strategic National Accounts base.
  • Contacts Accounts personally and by phone, email for the purpose of promoting services, onboarding and overall account management, longevity.
  • Develops enhanced account relationship through ongoing engagement, understanding accounts’ opportunities; thus implementation of solutions through company services being offered.
  • Develops deep understanding of customer specific needs, goals, specification expectations including promotional programs at times designed to enhance the customer’s “bottom-line”.  Furthermore, is responsible to work closely with their customized Distribution network on a daily basis to implement and meet those goals, objectives.
  • Provides customer specific business planning support, forecasting and category spend management.
  • Continually identify and determine optimum areas of opportunity to bring value on a daily basis to assigned accounts’ fresh produce spend.
  • Communicate effectively and promptly to the accounts affected in the event of a Food Safety Emergency/Recall.
  • Conducts regular business reviews, including savings/value proposition presentations
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Food and Beverage or related field/comparable experience
  • Advanced PC skills including comfortability with Technology-based Platforms: Microsoft Office Suite software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - as well as ability to adapt to new required, proprietary computer software programs
  • Minimum 2 Year Experience in Customer Service/Sales/Account Management
