Job Description:
We are seeking a Junior Salesperson to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate looking to start their produce career!
This position is responsible for the sales of our full product line of field commodities and value-added SKU’s.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; four years’ experience in a produce sales office; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Sell both grower product and outside purchased product
- Day to day management of key customer accounts
- Deliver excellent customer service that ensures ongoing sales and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers to support business development
- Identify and develop new opportunities with assigned targets
- Answer customers questions about products, prices, availability, product usage and credit terms
- Assist with contract negotiations
- Attend trade shows as needed
- Keep informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers
- Checks on competitive activity and develops methods of attaining new accounts
- Answers questions from customers and handles complaints
- Follow up on past due files and accounts
- Daily order entry and contract management
- Adhere to the PACA rules
- Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
- Other functions as assigned
Skills:
- Must be willing to travel 10% of the time
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings and rotating Saturdays
- Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office
- Experience with Famous software platform a plus but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must demonstrate good time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate and close sales
- Must be willing and able to travel to the various operations of the Company including but not limited to Arizona, Imperial Valley, the Central Valley of California as needed
